    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Guest Experience Expert to join our team at Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen. As a key member of our Rooms & Guest Services Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences through proactive communication, personalized services, and attention to detail.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be empowered to take initiative and make decisions that enhance the guest experience, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide personalized services to guests, including responding to requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to provide recommendations and promote upselling opportunities.
    • Assist with room preparation, cleaning, and maintenance to ensure guest rooms meet Marriott International standards.
    • Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
    • Demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in daily work practices.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
    • Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles an asset.
    • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Fluency in English required; Spanish language skills an asset.
