Responsibilities:


  • Call directly on end users within controlled environments driving sales through local distribution.
  • Develop a strategic entry plan within areas of responsibility including initially: Costa Rica, and very specific regions in Mexico and Columbia.
  • Understand the end user's method of controlling contamination within their operations
  • Become the key contact for cleaning/sanitizing systems for strategic endusers and distributor representatives selling into the medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing markets.
  • Gain understanding of total costs of distribution, focusing on organization profitability.
  • Explore development of new products specific to higher volume opportunities.
  • Track sales opportunities through CRM
  • Utilize an insight led selling approach (Challenger Sale)
  • Technically support (as a specialist) the existing Vileda Professional sales team with their end users in focus cities within Mexico.

Qualifications:


  • Home office preferred in the San Jose region of Costa Rica.
  • Travel required as needed. Overnight travel expected 25 to 35%.
  • Successful track record business within the laboratory, production, and/or clean room supply marketplace.
  • Expertise in calling on endusers operating within clean and controlled environments.
  • Experience working with clean room supply distributors and their sales forces.
  • Preferred experience in the mechanical cleaning marketplace.
  • High level experience documenting a sales funnel to include process and activities.
  • Excellent cross functional communication skills (oral and written).
  • Good analytical skills and problemsolving capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Entrepreneurial: display abilities to be creative and resourceful in devising an answer to challenges within the area of responsibility, and turning potential negative situations into positive opportunities.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English is a requirement
  • B.S. is preferred. Preferably in Marketing, Economics, Sales, Business Administration, or Microbiology.
  • High level understanding of Microsoft Office (Primarily: Excel, Word and Power Point).
