Together they are a $100 million+ revenue business, a significant and strategically important part of the $1billion+ Travelopia portfolio. Established in 1990, Europe Express provides high-quality, custom travel to Europe for their North American clients.

The company serves both private group and FIT leisure markets, working exclusively with travel advisors to book everything from air and rail to hotels and sightseeing tours.

YMT is an industry-leading guided tour specialist for North American travelers. Since 1967, the company has offered affordable land, cruise, and river cruise tours to the most popular destinations around the world


Summary:

We are seeking passionate and driven sales professionals to add to our team of European travel experts.

The purpose of the Reservations Sales Agent is to drive quality sales volume while creating and nurturing relationships with the travel advisor community.


What You Will Be Doing:


  • Answer inbound call inquiries
  • Discover needs of client through consultative sales approach to create bespoke European destination itineraries; including arrangements for air, hotels, sightseeing and ground transportation
  • Handle personal sales pipeline to ensure monthly sales goals are met or exceeded
  • Research and maintain current knowledge of all product offerings, and educate travel agent partners about Europe Express products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
  • Assist with changes to active reservations
  • Cultivate warm leads generated by outside sales team

What We Are Looking For:


  • European destination or European travel knowledge required
  • Experience as a travel advisor, independent consultant or tour operator sales experience preferred
  • Must be bilingual: English and Spanish proficiency required
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding inside sales goals, with a background in a consultative sales environment required
  • Demonstrated customer service and time management skills required
  • Experience with business to business sales and relationship/account management building skills preferred
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Knowledge of airline reservation GDS systems desired (Amadeus preferred), with experience with webbased computer systems. Solid understanding of Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel preferred
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Weekend availability
