I have expertise in Technical Writing, Facilitation, and Learning Management Systems, which enables me to create effective and engaging content that supports the learning process. Learning Experience Coordinator at Johnson Controls

April 2022 – Present

• Inspirational Leader program: Designed and developed a leadership program in collaboration with Technology Manager for the 30+ leaders in Costa Rica, Colombia and Mexico. This program helped improve skills in leaders and reported an improvement in their ratings based on the Manager Impact Index. The Inspirational Leader consisted of 10 weeks combining instructor-led and virtual training sessions where leaders committed to learn about 10 different skills. This program is now being launched in India and Slovakia. 
• Onboarding program: Had a consultant role with the Technical Support team to revamp their existing material into one onboarding program for new hires. The program impacted new hires and existing team members who used to dedicate time for training activities. 
• Designed and implemented a comprehensive learning program for a group of engineers that significantly improved their job performance and productivity.
• Coordinated The Week of Learning where all the population in the Costa Rica participated in Owning your career workshops and other courses intended for managers. 
• Collaborated with subject matter experts to create technical training materials that were accessible and easy to understand for engineers with varying levels of experience.
• Other activities: produced The Learning Blast podcast and other related podcast episodes that talked about skills or strategic clarity.

• Plan, organize, update and develop training content (user guides, video tutorials, eLearning courses, etc) that meets business goals while also ensuring the content is focused on the learner.
• Pioneered the first Microlearning Program for the Finance team with a 96% of completion from all the employees under the Finance organization in Costa Rica, with a potential global reach. 
• Conceptualized new communication channels for the team with the creation of the Learning and Development Community with a 86% engagement reach. 
• Optimized the New Hire training to an online format to adjust to the remote working environment as a self paced training. 
• Collaborated with the sales training team on the training delivery either in-person or virtual. 
• Created, designed and managed the L&D internal site to share information in a centralized space. 
• Manage the change management process in the department, creating the training and being part of the migration process of our change management tool. 
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and Stakeholders to develop online training programs from ground zero as well as publish the programs in the LMS to keep track of the learners’ programs.
