My background includes the strengthening of youth leadership for the defense of human rights and the promotion of democracy with a culture of peace approach, social prevention of gender-based violence, and trauma rehabilitation. Member of the professional association of Psychologists of Costa Rica. CPPCR. Cod. 10652. - United Nations University Alumni, generation 2022 -

My professional experience extends to managing development projects in the public and private sectors to accelerate progress on the SDGs, as well as merging higher education, public policy, and human rights. Throughout my career, I have worked with different social groups: young activists alliances, political leadership, political exiles and expatriates, indigenous communities, and human rights activists.

In addition, my experience also includes addressing sexual crimes against minors, rights in family law, and human trafficking. Psychologist, Master's degree in Conflict Resolution, Peace, and Development at the United Nations University, Specialist in Mental Health from the University of Costa Rica, UCR. Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Universidad Centroamericana, UCA.  

Background in conflict transformation, mediation, and transitional justice regarding human rights violations, by the Ministry of Justice from the Government of Spain. 

Wide experience in leadership management, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and creating mental health professional content for media.
