Quality Analyst

As a Quality Analyst, I am tasked with designing proficient testing strategies requested by the client. I was the main point of contact between our team in Costa Rica for quality reviews, project statuses and meetings within the team. Part of my daily tasks are the oversight of the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodologies (agile, waterfall) as specified in the testing approach with the corresponding lifecycle, having the ownership of overall product quality and testing resources, manual test cases, managing the execution of different testing types (functional, responsive, regression, UAT, etc) in order to commit with the release dates. In addition, to review the development process and ensure that defect creation and tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of defects) is properly addressed. Other responsibilities include; defining the test plans inputs for the corresponding testing strategy and facilitating structured test cases walk-through and peer reviews.
