WAREHOUSE LEAD 2015 — 2019 CONVIDIEN MANUFACTURING SOLUTION — Costa Rica Night warehouse Leader, responsible to achieve safety, quality, and training metrics, accountable for the raw material receipt, storage, and product delivery. Participate in meetings to provide regular updates for production and materials. Responsible for packaging material according to customers' requests and engineering specs to drive best-in-class packaging designs standards and specifications; helped with instructions development and procedures for packaging and material flow. Accountable for regular basis inventory cycle count and maintaining inventory accuracy and weekly volume tracking and planning for customer requests. Work with the operations team to identify and establish project selection for KAIZEN events. ENGINEERING TECH 2014 — 2015 INTEL — Costa Rica Technology and process transfer responsible from Costa Rica to Vietnam and Malaysia, coordinated 100% of the transfer required forms process to other sites. The transfer goal was reached by performing all activities on time and without quality issues. Additionally, performed the transfer of tools software, collaterals, and spares to other sites. Enabled Vietnam and Malaysia ramp up with great success by timely delivering the software and spec procedures for daily manufacturing activities and processes. MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION LEAD 2010 — 2014 INTEL — Costa Rica Responsible for meeting production goals, tracking productivity metrics and ISO auditing, single owner for closing audits gaps and improvement activities in the work area. In charge of ISO routine and area monthly check out, responsible for auditing and closing gaps achieving zero findings during formal external ISO audit. Managed and trained a group of 20-25 manufacturing operators and technicians, and assigned people to the right task/duty to create a positive environment to deliver results. As part of the continuous improvement activities, worked as an engineering tech intern for 6 months to improve current manufacturing systems and processes. Use LEAN methodology to reduce spare costs by 85% and increased productivity by 14%, reducing quality issues by 92%. MANUFACTURING MATERIALS BUYER 2009 — 2010 INTEL — Costa Rica Spares and consumables inventory control and cost responsible. Lead multiple lean processes to increase productivity and reduce waste in the area. Controlled and monitor spare costs, able to locate local suppliers for specifics modules parts saving $275000 per semester. Developed a control/tracking system for internal spare demand and usage to properly fulfill production needs and reduce waste at the same time, saving 60% of waste in consumables per semester. Lead LEAN methodology project to reduce lot time setup in the machine. The project included changing the programmed logic for the machine to increase parallel activities and reduce wait time in the processing reducing process time for each lot by 17% and increasing overall productivity. MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION SPECIALIST 1998 — 2009 INTEL — Costa Rica Responsible for meeting production goals and metrics and setting the goals and pace for the rest of the team. Set production goals, volume, and priorities strategy. Responsible for removing any roadblock to any team member, performed a risk assessment for tools down and back up strategy in order to meet production goals. Able to set the pace for the team and reached all production goals. Designed and implemented a cross virtual laboratory to train module team members to enable resource flexibility in the area. BODY TRAINER 1994 — 1998 MOTOROLA — Costa Rica Responsible for continuously training 20+ groups of operators in new technologies. Developed training plan, delivered training to employees, and track progressive milestones over the following 4 weeks to completely ramp team and meet production deliverables in new technologies introduction. Continuously trained people in new processes to increase productivity and efficiency. Able to develop, deliver and meet production goals for 20+ people in less than 6 weeks for new technologies.
