Sculpting: I was Backup for more than 1 year.I have advanced knowledge in
using software to transform dental scans into 3D models.
Treatment Planning: I was assigned to Heavy team in which I did complex and escalated treatments. Also, I was giving support in the Treatment Planning Training.
CAD Designer: Responsible for designing 3D orthodontic treatments using Align Technology's proprietary CAD dental design software (OrthoCAD) from digitally scanned files of our clients' patients (orthodontists and general dentists).
5 years of experience in the area, across multiple companies as: Smile Direct Club and Align Technology.
 

SCULPTING AND TREATMENTPLANNING TECHNICIAN AT SMILE DIRECT CLUB

As a sculpting technician, I used the software to transform dental scans into 3D models to be used to fabricate aligners for the patient. In addition, I had an incredible attention to detail and willingness to work to improve methodologies.
Responsibilities:
• Review cases to see if they proceed or are rejected.
• Follow all corporate, safety, SOP, DOP procedures and regulations.
• Digital Dental Images Detailing (Smooth, Pinch, Contour Detailing, Other).
• Generate patient specific solid models to support manufacturing demand.
As a Backup in Sculpting, there were my main responsibilities:
• Perform the role of leader when my Team Lead is on vacation, busy, etc.
• Supervising and managing the team members.
• Provide support and troubleshooting to team members.
As a treatment planning technician, I was assigned to the Heavy team in which I had to perform complex treatments and also perform escalation cases.
Responsibilities:
• Complete the production of heavy and escalation cases.
• Read and understand patient prescriptions.
• Communicate with orthodontists to consult cases.
• Carry out the processes of cutting, segmenting, staging and the set-up of the
treatment plan.
When I was giving support in the Treatment Planning Training, I provided assistance, reviewed Tm cases, explained the treatment planning process, gave tips for improvement, and supervised the team.

CAD DESIGNER AT ALIGN TECHNOLOGY

July 2017- May 2018
As a CAD Designer, I was assigned to the Iberia region where I had to carry
outthe treatment plans with assigned instructions from doctors. Responsibilities:
• Understand the submitting doctor’s prescription form, select appropriate clinical comments in reference to the treatment and communicate with peers and other Align employees in English and/local language.
• Perform the different types of staging according to the Doctor ́s indications.
• Understand orthodontic clinical concepts and have computer literacy.
• Validating Oclussion, Staging, Mounting and axis.
