Sobre Abril Rojas:

I create impactful work focused on design solutions through as many mediums I can get my hands on. My passion for art and design emerged at a very young age and has led to producing a feature-length film, doing major design projects at companies in New York, Florida, and Costa Rica, and graduating with a bachelor’s degree and a full scholarship.

As someone who loves doing all, most times I find myself wearing many hats as an art director, designer, illustrator, video producer, and strategic planner. This made me earn the nickname of the ‘Swiss Army Knife’. I pride myself on actively improving and learning new mediums to convey ideas. I also have a deep fascination in sustainability ideas, social geography, and social change.

• Utilized Photoshop in developing postcards, social media posts for companies. Including photos, texts, colors, and placements for maximum visual impact and marketing promotion.

• Developed original designs and logos under strict deadlines. Used Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign.

• Oversaw printing processes, choice of papers, color specs and adjusted images to better express clients’ needs.

• Capitalized on the art direction and graphics for an internal campaign for the NFL. Pitched two established eye-catching concepts, harmonics color palettes, and product placements based on the target audience.

• Designed social media and visual ideas for Russell’s Reserve and Wild Turkey.

• Ideated and developed executions for Ocean Spray’s latest campaign. Participated in the brainstormed for the design aesthetics for the brand. Also designed part of the Plans Book, social media posts, and photographs.

• Produced an advertisement for the campaign. Managed the talent communication and networked with local media, ABC News, to air the shoot and actors.
