About the role:


Essential duties and job responsibilities:


  • Create highfidelity user interface mockups, prototypes, and solutions using a range of design tools such as wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across all products and interfaces.
  • Lead the design efforts for new experiences and continually improve and optimize existing experiences to ensure alignment with user expectations and business goals.
  • Design interfaces that improve the User's experience when navigating complex business processes, leveraging emerging UI/UX trends and technologies.
  • Ensure that all user interfaces are visually appealing, highly intuitive, and provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Customer Satisfaction, in an agile environment to deliver highquality products on time.
  • Provide effective design leadership and mentorship to ensure the quality, consistency, and usability of our products.
  • Design user interfaces and experiences that are aligned with user needs and behaviors, and able to solve complex design problems with simple and elegant solutions.
  • Expertly articulate and communicate design options and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends and technologies, and proactively share knowledge and best practices with the team.
  • Champion and cultivate a culture of design excellence within the company, fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience working in a User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) capacity, designing interactive websites.
  • Prior experience working on enterpriselevel SoftwareasaService (SaaS) solutions in a similar capacity is a prerequisite.
  • An impressive portfolio that showcases your professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms is an essential requirement.
  • Proficiency in standard UX software, such as Figma, Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, and other similar tools, is mandatory. Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is an added advantage.
  • Developing and maintaining user interface components using modern frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and other relevant tools is expected.
  • Demonstrating a robust understanding of technologies used to create modern digital experiences, as well as familiarity with the fundamentals of frontend/mobile development, accessibility, and usability is crucial.
  • Composing and testing code for the user interface in React and TypeScript to ensure optimal usability, performance, scalability, and reliability is a critical responsibility.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to deliver highquality user experiences and interface solutions is a necessary aspect of the role.
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a culture of design excellence within the organization, leading and mentoring other UI/UX engineers to deliver exceptional work is expected.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
